These open access cures, which are shorter and not reimbursed, do not require an approval by the Social Security.
The thermal doctor prescribes the treatments and provides medical supervision. The treatments are the same as those carried out in the context of a standard approved cure, with 4 thermal treatments per day: filiform shower, face spraying, body spraying and bath.
Doctor's fees not included. Approximate rate: 60 € to 100 € / week.

If you live outside of France and wish to benefit from a thermal spa cure in La Roche Posay:
- If you live outside of the European Union, you can ask your medical insurance company to see if it can cover part of the medical costs (thermal treatments).
- In the European Union, you can also apply for the S2 form "Droit aux soins médicaux programmés". This form allows you to be reimbursed for medical care provided in another Member State.
