Quality approach

La Roche-Posay was the first resort to receive the ISO certification in 1998. This standard guarantees hygiene, water quality and the continuous improvement of skin care services.

Since 2007, the national thermal convention has required thermal establishments to implement a quality assurance process. In order to meet this obligation, the National Council of thermal establishments drafted a Guide to Good Thermal Practices,  in order to manage hygiene within the establishments and in particular where skin care products are used (thermal water, mud, gas, vapours).

In order to officially certify this approach, a specific certification standard for the spa industry " AQUACERT HACCP THERMALISME " was created in 2010, based on the  pre-existing and recognised HACCP sanitary safety method, and the ISO type quality standards. This standard has been approved by the supervisory authorities and consumer associations.
