The short thermal cure allows you to discover what a dermatological thermal cure at La Roche-Posay is all about. Whether you're alone, as a couple, with friends, or accompanying a loved one on a long-term spa treatment, the introductory treatment aims to help you understand what a spa treatment is, how it works, and the nature of the treatments.
Why choose a short cure?
There are many reasons to let yourself be tempted by a short thermal spa treatment:
- To complement your thermal spa treatment with two extra days of care.
- To allow your skin to benefit from the La Roche-Posay thermal spring water between two treatments.
- Simply out of curiosity, to test and experience thermal water treatments.
- Out of a desire to take care of yourself and relax at the spa.
- To take advantage of accompanying a loved one on a spa treatment to take care of your own skin.
- To meet with a thermal dermatology physician during a medical consultation (if you choose an introductory treatment with a consultation).
- Introductory treatments last two days, with 1.5 to 2 hours of care per day, and can only begin on Tuesdays or Wednesdays during the week. You can book your treatment directly by clicking on the "Book Online" tab.
The skin benefits of the two-day introductory treatment may not be as visible as those of the longer free or conventional treatments (6, 12 & 18 days). This depends on the individual and the condition being treated. However, the treatments offered during short treatments are the same and are of the same duration as the thermal treatments prescribed to all other spa guests. The introductory treatment lasts two days and is not reimbursed. It does not require a prescription and is not covered by Social Security.
The thermal spa treatments offered are the same as those carried out as part of a conventional treatment, at a rate of 4 thermal treatments per day, i.e. 8 thermal treatments over the duration of the introductory treatment. They are of the same duration as the treatments offered to all other spa guests.
The physician's fees, if you have chosen an introductory treatment with a medical consultation, are extra. Please check with your spa physician.
